Lithium-sulphur for Battery-Packs

These robust lithium batteries are used in a wide range of military equipment (radio equipment, locating and rescue instruments) as well as in metrology and medical technology.

LiSO2 technology is more pulse resistant than lithium thionyl chloride and shows less voltage drops under strain. A multitude of standard battery packs can be obtained ready to use. Ultrathin foil batteries are currently under development on the basis of LiMnO2.
